On my first visit to Cardiff cheated a bit and checked out the Waitrose Good Food Guide and spotted the Purple Poppadom (PP). Bit of a walk from the city centre and into bit of a run down area, but shining like a beacon was the PP. Staff first class, wine a bit expensive and I was done on lager. Usual starters but with a twist, My wife is vegetarian and was spoilt for choice, I went monk fish main which was awesome. No carpets on the walls or ethnic Indian muzak in the background make this place worth another visit.
