Tucked away but worth finding

Review by Bat120 via Tripadvisor February 2017

Booked lunch here for a pre-match meal on a rugby international day. Restaurant was quiet when we arrived but quickly filled up and was fully booked by the time we left.

The service was great – attentive but not overly so. The food was outstanding – the starter of a mixed “Chef’s choice” was easily the best I have eaten in an Indian restaurant;a tasty and unusual mix of a crabmeat ball, kebab, a yoghurt-filed pastry and the softest piece of chicken I have had in a long while. Main courses and sides equally delicious and we even had a pudding (which I am never usually tempted by); Tandoori pineapple with coconut icecream. Fabulous. The meal was pricey but worth it and we will definitely return!
