We are pleased to report that Chef’s new Game-based 501 celebration dishes are proving hugely popular amongst guests.
Raman Bijalwan, General Manager said: “We wondered how people would react to the completely new ingredients including rabbit, goat and pheasant. But we are pleased to say that people love chef’s innovation and dishes including the Pheasant (Ffesant Chou Fleur) and Wild Boar (Sanglier de Kerala).”
Ffesant Chou Fleur consists of a coriander and garlic crusted supreme of pheasant, served with cauliflower puree and contrasted with pickled beetroot.
Sanglier de Kerala is a speciality of Xmas at Christian homes in Kerala, and is a haunch of wild boar, cooked with onion and spices.
501 celebrates five years of Anand George in Cardiff and the first birthday of Purple Poppadom and is available throughout December. For more details on 501 dishes, which are available in both a chef’s tasting menu and a la carte please click here.
