Our first Festival Sous Chef winner is about to take the stage with Chef Anand George at the Welsh Menu Live in Swansea on Bank Holiday Monday. Welsh Menu Live runs over this weekend (25-27th August) with a wide range of mouthwatering foodie events taking place.
Ben Vivian makes his debut working with Chef at the Welsh Menu Food Theatre at the Dragon Hotel , Swansea city centre at 2.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
Ben is the first of our trio of foodies, followed by Cait Myers and Ellen Perry, rocketed to the status of a Festival Sous Chefs in our competition.
Ben said: “Being chosen to cook with chef anand George is a great opportunity to see first hand how great food is cooked and should also improve my own cooking skills. I feel very lucky to be cooking with such an accomplished chef and I’m very much looking forward to the festival!”
