Exclusive Book Launch Menu of ‘The 5000 Mile Journey’ by Chef Anand George

book-posterJoin Chef Anand George for his exclusive book launch menu evening on 19th October to celebrate the upcoming release of his debut book titled ‘The 5000 Mile Journey’.

The book will take you through an exciting food experience as Anand looks back at his time growing up in the beautiful coastal area of Kochi in Kerala and the people who inspired Anand’s passion for food.

Chef George has shared over 60 of his own incredible recipes which include his award-winning dishes, and now you can try his 6 course tasting menu at his book launch dinner.

MENU

 

– AMUSE BOUCHE –
Coconut soup | Salmon cake

 

– STARTERS –
Chicken supreme infused with thyme and cooked in tandoor |
Cabbage cake| Pork vindaloo with homemade brioche bread

 

– FISH COURSE –
Sea-bass wrapped in banana leaf marinated with a Kerala masala of shallots,
garlic and curry leaves, cooked in its own juices. Served with prawn risotto

 

– MAIN COURSE –
Kashmiri lamb rogan josh | Saffron pilav rice | Naan bread

 

– SORBET –
Coconut water and Malibu sorbet

 

– DESSERT –
Chocomosa and Rose crème brûlée

 

£40 per person (minimum a table of two) includes a signed copy of ‘The 5000 Mile Journey” by Anand George, per couple.

At first it may seem expensive, but once you are on the course you soon realise it is very good value for money. The starter of aloo chaat was incredible. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. I am looking forward to going back

The portions are smaller than normal but the food is perfectly cooked. The service was also excellent and quick. They have adequate professional number of staff who were always nearby to attend
