Our new Cookery School dates are unveiled

The latest dates for the Anand George Cookery School at our Purple Poppadom, Indian restaurant, Cardiff 2019 will be released soon. 

The half-day masterclasses are an ideal gift for foodies everywhere, providing a rare opportunity to learn cooking Indian food from the master in our kitchen. If you have already been but want to experience it again then we have brand new dishes we will be cooking in the class:

Murgh Tikka ~Cardamon infused tikka supreme

Prawn Curry ~ Malabar style with tamarind and coconut.

Potatoes ~ Stir fried with spices, tempered with mustard seeds.

Rice ~ Coconut Rice 


The cooking experience includes:

  • Small group cooking class with Anand George

  • Complimentary professional AG apron

  • Lunch in the restaurant

  • Recipes to cook in your kitchen at home

  • Your cuisine packaged to take home

The cost per person is £149, or £169 including Anand George’s cookery book The 5,000 Mile Journey.
