“Special in all kinds of way”

Review by Mimiyan via tripadvisor.com on 14th September 2014

This is our second visit to quite possibly the best contemporary indian restaurant in cardiff. It was my birthday and we decided to visit as we wanted to try the other dishes from our first visit. It was quite busy on a Friday night but the waiters and manager still greeted us with a welcome back which was lovely.

We both ordered the Streets of Mumbai to start and I had halibut island for mains with a plain rice. My sister decided to try the salmon duo with peshwari naan. Service was without fault and the food came to perfection and the waiters were all exceptional and friendly. We were also given a complimentary blood orange sorbet which was delicious. I was quite jealous when the salmon duo arrived as it looked stunning and from the comments coming from my sister during the meal, she thought it was the best food she has ever tasted!

We decided there was room for dessert and when it arrived to my surprise it came with a happy birthday message. Overall, the evening was enjoyable, the food, staff, drinks and atmosphere. I really would recommend anyone to this fantastic restaurant and hope more people can discover the tantalising flavours. Upon leaving I asked the manager when they will introduce the new menu and he replied next month. So I will hope to visit again soon!
