ST VALENTINE’S MENU ANNOUNCED

Chef has announced details of our St Valentine’s Day Menu. Once again, Chef Anand has created an exclusive Chef’s Taster Menu, for couples to enjoy for their romantic dinner with us on Thursday 14th February.

For this year, Anand George has chosen the theme of ‘Chanson D’Amour’ as he takes diners through a culinary journey of taste experiences spanning both Nouvelle Indian Cuisine, and traditional regional flavours.

A special romantic chef’s taster menu, featuring dishes ‘a deux’ – ingredients presented in two complementary styles, for the love of harmony

– STARTERS –

Moment D’or

Butternut squash and tintern cheese with spices, encased in flaky pastry as a ‘potli’ bag | Accompanied by a roasted butternut squash and fresh garlic puree

– FISH COURSE – 

Moulin Rouge

Red snapper delicately marinated with mustard and spices, fresh ginger and green chilli, and steamed seconds before serving, in a fresh banana leaf | A red snapper tikki prepared with chilli, ginger and coconut and grilled to perfection

Pani Zhivago

Dainty iced street food delicacy, inspired by the drink ‘pani puri,’ presented as a granite to cleanse the palate

– MAIN COURSE –

Puissance de L’amour

Seared succulent Gressingham duck breast, served with a tangy fresh orange salad |Full flavoured duck legs, marinated with spices and flash cooked on skewers in the tandoor

Boeuf Encounter

Tenderloin of  Welsh beef, stir fried with mangetout, asparagus, baby corn, carrot and stem broccoli served with a burnished garlic and ginger sauce | Classic Kerala ‘Erachi’ stew of beef slowly cooked with whole spices and coconut milk

Served with Pilav rice and mixed breads

    • What a day, what an experience; from start to finish, well organised, conducted and delivered. At first it may seem expensive, but once you are on the course you soon realise it is very good value for money. The keep-sake ‘Anand George’ recipe book and denim apron, the sample food throughout the day and taster meal

The starter of aloo chaat was incredible. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. I am looking forward to going back

The portions are smaller than normal but the food is perfectly cooked. The service was also excellent and quick. They have adequate professional number of staff who were always nearby to attend

Once you climb to the 1st floor, you are greeted with a very understated and tasteful restaurant seating about 60-70 people. For a Tuesday night

Everything was beautifully cooked and full of flavour, with our particular favourites being the onion pakoras, laccha parathas and the planner makhni – the
