Street Food Classics return to Purple Poppadom for one day!

Award-winning Chef Anand George is bringing his renowned brand of Indian Street Food to Purple Poppadom, exclusively for one day on Sunday 28th April!

Famous for his delicacies served at many Food Festivals across South Wales, now you can enjoy some of your Street Food Favourites, including Anand’s hugely popular Kerala Fried Chicken and chip and his famous Samosa Chaat, in the comfort of our restaurant, between  12noon-6pm.

Alternatively if you can’t make it to the restaurant have your tasty treats delivered free to your home or collect direct from Purple Poppadom.

– Orders for collection starts from 1pm
– Orders for deliveries starts after 2.30pm

The minimum order for delivery is £20. Check out our menu and call us on 02920 220026 to pre-order your street food favourites from 5pm on Saturday 27th April.

We have limited portions so once it’s gone it’s gone so make you don’t miss out.

1. Samosa Chaat (V, G, D) £5.00/£7.00
Home-made samosa, roasted sweet potatoes and peas, curried chickpeas, topped with yoghurt, tamarind chutney, green chutney, pomegranate, gram flour vermicelli and kale

2. Kerala Fried Chicken and Chips (G, E) £8.00
Chicken thigh spiced with ginger, green chilly, curry leaves, crushed coriander seeds, fennel seeds and fried, served with our Bombay fries, salad leaves, pickled cucumber, red onion and apple chutney and home-made thousand island sauce

3. Lamb and Red Rice £7.00
Slow cooked lamb, with fragrant spices and Keralan whole grain rice, served with crispy egg and pickled vegetables

4. Bombay Fries and Thousand Island Sauce (V, E) £3.00
