The Times Names us in UK’s Top 30 Best Curry Restaurants!

The TimesFeaturing us at No. 12 in the Top 30 and the only restaurant in Wales, The Times wrote ‘Contrary to its name, this self-styled nouvelle Indian doesn’t actually serve purple poppadoms, just thoughtfully presented, delicious food such as the signature pan-seared “tiffin” sea bass infused mashed potato, raw mango, ginger and coconut sauce and beetroot pachadi.’

Chef Anand George of Purple Poppadom said: “To be named by The Times as one of the Top restaurants for curry for the whole of the UK is a great accolade for the Purple Poppadom team. The starter of aloo chaat was incredible. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. I am looking forward to going back

    • Review via Tripadvisor by Saber S on 31st October 2018 This is an excellent restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and very tastey. The portions are smaller than normal but the food is perfectly cooked. The service was also excellent and quick. They have adequate professional number of staff who were always nearby to attend
