The need to help our environment by producing less waste has never been more important which is why Purple Poppadom is committed to becoming involved in the important Wasteless Supper movement.

This is all about cutting down on food waste, by utilising ‘surplus food’ perfectly good and healthy ingredients that would otherwise go to waste, and creating great meal events out of them!

The latest Wasteless Supper takes place on 31st March and is sold-out, and we look forward to contributing our own dish to help in this cause to establish Cardiff as a Zero Waste City.

Speaking ahead of the event, Chef Anand George, founder of Purple Poppadom said:

“We are great believers in the work of the wasteless supper team. We are very excited to be contributing a Purple Poppadom Nadan Kozhi chicken curry, showing how ingredients that would otherwise be thrown away too early, can be so tasty. We are happy to help in any way we can in helping spread this important waste saving message.”

    • Review via Tripadvisor by DenisinWales on 26th September 2018 1st despite the very long sign board covering 2 store fronts, the entrance is a tiny door at the far left. Once you climb to the 1st floor, you are greeted with a very understated and tasteful restaurant seating about 60-70 people. For a Tuesday night

    • Review by Ellym106, TripAdvisor, April 2018 We had an excellent meal here. We visited India in November and know how the food is supposed to be – and this is it! Everything was beautifully cooked and full of flavour, with our particular favourites being the onion pakoras, laccha parathas and the planner makhni – the
