We are very happy to report that Purple Poppadom has been named as one of the runners-up in the Observer Food Monthly Awards Best Restaurant category.
The award featured regional runners-up for the overall title, and Purple Poppadom was one of only four restaurants in Wales, and the only Indian restaurant featured in Wales.
The judging took place around the time of our summer ‘Ocean’ seafood menu, reflected in our entry in the awards listing:
Cardiff Indian that specialises in fish dishes. The ocean tasting menu has a course each from the Pacific and Indian Oceans, with beer pairings for each.
