We arrived to a warm greeting after finding the nearest Indian from our B&B for our first trip to Cardiff. The menu and food around us looked incredible and once we decided on the taster menu for £45 each we hoped it would taste as good as it looked. The first three courses were so delicious, the best food I’ve had in a long time and were presented just lovey. The fourth was a curry duo with some sides and again was delicious but the beef curry was our least favourite as it was quite ‘normal’ in terms of flavour compared to the first dishes. The pudding brought the meal back up again with the most delightful trio of deserts. The food was served rather fast but we were quite hungry so didn’t mind to much and had booked last minute. The staff were lovely and explained each course and overall were very accommodating. The drinks list was vast and prices fair. The surroundings were comfortable and spacious which only added to this wonderful dining experience at the Purple Poppadom.
